If I am a tree you must be the wind, tickling me, trying to make me laugh, blowing me away,
Dancing with every leaf, in that flawless way you sway.

If you are the earth, I would be the sun, kissing every part of you I could see.
We'd spin in circles, for our own twisted fun, never getting dizzy.

If I am the sky, then you are the purest shade of blue,
And yes I would be beautiful, but only because of you.

If you are an ocean, I'd be a ship, lost at sea.
With salt on my lips, I wouldn't want anyone to rescue me.

If you are the ground beneath the highest mountain peak,
I'd already be on my way down, falling for you, before ever having time to think.

If I were a song, I'd be yours to sing.
For you I could be everything, I could be anything.
