When you disregard his cons, and focus on his pros...
I do not Mourn the things that his hate has torn down--

A soft mouth; a scarred wrist;
A knowing brow; a sheen of mist.
New languages of love and leisure;
A keen ear; eyes that belie pleasure.
Short, powerful limbs; and a mystic smile
Radiating warmth, kindness, and dark knowledge--
Deep debts, he owes to the spirits.

What unbound winds answer, when he speaks of you.

In his deepest reveries, and contemplation of the miraculous nature of the universe,
He marvels at how exceptional YOU are.
Having measured your virtues,
weighed against his flaws,
he arrives at the realization of deepest reciprocal love,
such truths deny denial.
