A shooting star goes whooshing by
Across the darkness of the sky
As if to send a sparkling sign
In the shape of a bright light
A sign to those who look up at night
To tell them they will be alright
A sign to give a sense to them
That all will be right again
The world will make sense soon
As sure as there will be a moon
So if you happen to see this star
Remember that from afar
There is a star that is shining bright
Waiting to tell you that all is right
