Dec 2017
Night creatures on the prowl,
stalking their prey in silvered moonlight,
from above wings flap and eyes glow,
searching for mice and shrews.

Through tall grass and into the
plowed fields, slinking close to the ground,
flattened and oozing through mountain filtered
cool air, the tomcat searches for a meal.
