I seek a feeling that I’ve never felt
trying to locate what my eyes have never seen
looking for the same feeling
to which I see on my tv screen

Telling myself what to do right
although I’ve never seen it work
& with everyone afraid,
they’ll push away before even seeing it work

I’ve looked for it my whole life
but how do you look for the one thing
to which you’ve never had
& how can one learn to fly
when that dream has your wing
