if so-called music experts
considered songs by the above
like Cotton Candy, Last Date,
and Alley Cat maybe
as trite and stale and
all that crap
whenthey've got just as much gap
as an irritated ***
just as much pizzazz
as a sigh with all the razz-ma-tazz
and just as much a successful song
as any that have been crooned.
They're classic top 40
just as much as that ****
FM classic rock (I still like)
I don't mean to shock
or gove away that I'm a flop
but like I've said
in the infantry, our
motto is keep it simple stupid
I wish some of these
****** producers also would
pick up on that and
not try to play decadent Cupid.
