It hurts letting you go
But it hurts more letting you stay.
Now if I let you go  I’m still going to love you.
I’m letting you go BECAUSE I love you.
I will not beg you to stay.
I refuse to cry when you leave
Because I want to see you happy even if it’s not with me.
You heard right, you heard me
I said you can leave.
I’ll be waiting here until the day you want to come back to see me.
So good bye dad I’m letting you go
Your little girl will always be waiting  for you to come home.
And I shall keep waiting some more.
