Aug 2012
he ingests sand
like rice and
finds its grains
in his hair a
day later

his sneezes
are tornadoes,
his coughs
earthquakes

when he eats,
chocolate forms
crust in the
corners of his
parted lips

giggles slaughter
whatever age
he's acquired
in the past
twenty-five years

still, he
is young.
