Let's all be very honest with ourselves for a moment:
We all find our woven words beautiful.

So let me wax poetic for a moment
On something far from lovely.

I lie down to sleep with some form of white noise
To distract me from the sounds outside of my window.

Yet they claw their way in and past my barrier,
Leaving my eyes open and my brain racing.

I lose thirty minutes, an hour, two hours
Before I'm too exhausted to remain awake.

All because the night so perfectly recreates
The very soundtrack of my deepest fears.
i'm a pretentious ******* who copes with my paranoia and anxiety by trying to make the fears something pretty
