Blue souls grow black in time
It starts when reality kicks into our minds
All that was pure, we learned was fake
Now all we can see is our past mistakes
The world can be so harsh, it's so small yet so large
We're the kids who can relate to the rain
These raindrops wash away the pain
Once you go down the filthy drain
You'll never come back quite the same
So join my parade,
in the masses we'll fade
While we walk down the streets
singing our song
The people will point, saying we're living life wrong
Because now we are black, though once we were blue
Doesn't that say something to you?
Even pretty little children can end up bruised.
