Nov 2017
I gently rock on the waves of the ocean
I am held above the ever seething dark
Though it makes me want to sink away
It makes me want to run once a day

I want to wake in the morning new and alive
But deep inside, I am dragged back down
The ragged indifference and repeating dive
To the darkness where I cannot be found
