What would I have found myself with

Had I looked up from the ashes

That my life had become

And seen no one there to help me up?

What mountain could I have traversed

Without you, and you, and you to allow me to be heard

Loving you like lovers

There could never be another

Of each and every one of you

And I plainly see

The bits of all of you in me

Like compass points and northern stars

Guiding me along the way

Sweeping up my shattered, still beating heart

Raining on my rainy day.
