There’s a skip in my step
There’s a whistle in my mouth
I soar upon the sky
With a twinkle in my eye

The days of waiting has ended
Bringing hopes of a future bright
I join my naughty brothers
I join my sweet sisters

Mama squeezes my fluffy skin
Papa pats my lovely head
They say
“Finally, your feathers have sprouted”
