GREEN ALLIGATOR
GREEN ALLIGATOR
her green alligator
handbag gapes wildly red
a single white Polo mint
these the only things
she owns
they don't find her for a month
the neighbours shocked
Mrs. M has become
officially a corpse
the room is clean now
hard to imagine
such ordinary horror
death by hunger
death by loneliness
the spring day is innocent
