Fly free, young girl,
soar high through the air
feel the wind brush your face
and lift off all the world's burdens
you can finally leave all your troubles behind
and feast your eyes on nature's kingdom
and the beautiful, diamond, night sky
you don't have to listen anymore
to their demands and cries
you don't have to cry anymore
from loneliness and fear
there's a place for you, young girl
somewhere out there
and you now have the means
to soar towards your destiny
fly free, young girl,
remember somewhere along the way
how to love and forgive
and remember again the brightness of a new day
and although it hurts
don't forget where you come from
and don't forget
the goodness inside your spirit
fly free, young girl,
and experience for the first time
how it feels to finally begin living for yourself.
