The stars of the city scape are artificial;
They lack the life their interstellar counterparts brim with.

Neon and hydrogen thrive in both of their souls,
But where one is natural,
The other is forced.

And yet those who live in their light
Can’t tell the difference between fake and real.
for the city kids who just want a piece of starlight
