Life shouldn't be taken for granted
for it could soon be taken away
We need to hold those we love,
and thank god each and every day.

I've made mistakes
and i've chosen to grow
I will remember the life I once lived,
I will now go with the flow.

With a better understanding
I believe I can live in peace.
I can teach those I care about,
and help others to their feet.

I wish so deeply I could share what I know
Tell others before they go down the same road.
Sometimes you just have to learn the hard way,
but then, never let your knowledge go.

If you learn from your faults,
never should you trip over the same crack
for once a decision is made,
there is no turning back.
