I feel as if
We use the words
"heart-broken"
Too easily
So callously
So nonchalant
But no one knows
How it feels
What it truly means to
Have your heart shattered
broken in a million pieces
As your fingers bleed
When you try to pick them up
Try to mend your broken heart
No one knows this pain
The reality of a broken heart
The pang
The sting
The hole left inside of you
For months on end
Nobody understands
The true actual pain
Of a broken
Shattered
Heart
