You made me coffee one morning
from a dusted, rusted coffee maker
untouched, unused.

You don’t drink coffee,
But it's my blood type.

You drowned yours in creamer,
I drank mine with a splash.
I guess I like the taste
of authenticity
Its a surprise I became addicted
to your artificial affection
