Pangs of Tragedy
The halogen light threw orange sheets
Of light across her face
She felt like just another animal
Denim felt like a uniform
Drugs felt like a uniform
She wished she was a unicorn. No,
That's stupid. She wasn't a poet.
She wanted to do something meaningful but it never really happened.
