Two blackbirds on a high line
Screaming obscenities at the rising sun
I wonder what they're saying?
The nape of her neck, whole milk and henna hair
Making love in the cotton cotton cotton
Tea is best shared among lovers
Hot or cold we sip from the same cup
My love, turn on that darkness, a steady drip
Fresh melon on your lips
I want to lick them
eternally
Just kiss my back, my ear, me
It's all I ask
Let me into your watercolor soul
Paint my heart in shades of ocher, teal, and meridian
Any color will do
As long as I paint with you
You alone
