signature burn
my body is melting
into a bath of nonbeing
my body is more,
my body is less
my hero fights my nemesis,
see them there!
they win.
while i am young it fizzles, so bright
and my dreams and muscles drawn tight
the outer layers are yet to be seen
but i will be silenced
by the order
of God.
