Lonely Night

Tonight, it is me and a glass of wine

though you may think otherwise, I feel fine.

Tonight, it is me and the dark sky,

I love the night, and the stars are why.

Tonight, it is me and my own mind,

it continues to seek what it cannot find.

Tonight, it is me alone, without you,

knowing what to say, but not knowing what to do.
