I can write a song or two
And leave it all behind
Then I'll go and run off to
Somewhere to unwind

I have special powers
The gift of invisibility
I can multiply my numbers
There's one, there's two, now three

I can look you in the eye
If it's for you to decide
To stand up tall like a man
Or hide where I can't find

The answer is not really clear
It's muddled and unrefined
Reaching out to lend a hand
Grasping at what's mine

Held onto for way too long
Until it becomes a crime
But I don't mind a single bit
No, no, I don't mind

There's a bird to be set free
I know they'll come a time
When I'll spread my wings and fly away
With you by my side

Transparency is a welcomed sight
I love what you've become
The missing piece of the puzzle
The apple of my eye
