Fin
Falling from life's final rung,
water fills each aching lung,

Drowning in the sea of time,
torrid past prevents my climb,

Sinking to the depths of hate,
anger's shroud will not sedate,

Set adrift in hopelessness,
starved of air and heaven's bliss,

Darkness fills my mind with dread,
trapped within this loathsome bed,

Heartless shell my deeds reveal,
never more life's warmth to feel.
