The fox misses you
More than you know.
Why would you leave
Your Furball behind?
Once wagging his tail,
Now left with a trail
Of anguish and shards where his chow used to be
And he is so hungry.
How could you abandon
Your Furball?
Your Furball loves you;
He does not understand
How just the other day
He had his paw in your hand
And now it’s been taken away.
And now he awaits for his human
For you, my dear friend, you have left him.
How could you forget him?
The fox which bounces and tackles and scratches
Where ever, whenever you need him to.
The fox misses you.
He howls at the moon
Though he thinks that werewolves are silly
Their tales are too true.
So, he joins them in chorus and wails
Like a rock thrown on top of a pail.
Your fox will always miss you
And he has no place else
To go.
