Pain and Disdain in the Rain
My mind is a magician,
creating illusions to stop the pain,
sleight of hand and heart,
to comfort the emotional brain.
Some deep dark fears
to bring you to tears,
nightmares realized
emotions crystallized.
Your throne is now ashes,
you glass palace is smashed,
you could not contain
me with your disdain.
A bit of death
to steal your breath,
a bit of pain
and pouring rain.
