I ain't Chasing, girl
Been there, Done that
But when the sun goes down
I'll be pullin' into your drive
In hopes to make a night
That we both remember

Flying down that ol' dirt road
The crescent moon above leading the way
One hand on the wheel
Ice cold Jacks sitting in the console
My girl shoots me that smile
That makes my heart go wild
And the clock on the dash is stuck on 12

That dirt road's my road
There's no turning back
The rules are clear
9 - 5, 5 days a week
Then church on Sunday's
And a Friday night bonfire
Nothin' else in mind but falling in love

By the time we got there
The fire was already burin'
My buddies lettin' loose
Neath the blue sky, Starlight
Let’s forget about Monday morning
And just dance in the moonlight

I sit on the tailgate
Sippin' on my whiskey
Watchin' my girl
As she kicks her heels off
And starts to spin around
In the light of the of moon shining bright

She pulls me over
I throw my arms around her
Never gonna let her go
Her baby blues, pulling me in
I've been waiting for this all night
For that sweet strawberry kiss

Holding her in my arms
Under the stars of a mid-summer night
She fell asleep an hour ago
But I lie awake, as the fire burns bright
The music fades away
Before closing my eyes
I whisper to myself, I'm in love
Started off as originally as song lyrics but turned into a country poem
