If you have a voice and message it will surely articulate itself

Its in those muted moments when we doubt it exists

But writing is not some phase for the souls left suspended by a mad world

nor is it a passing craze for the ones who know chaos resides in quiet spaces

for the ones whose momentum is acutely inclined for folly

for the ones who deconstruct like a tortured time bomb

You all know who you are

It is simply the only way we can make sense of life's absurd rotation

Its the only way we can calm these hums that crowd our heads

The ones with ticks like panic seeping

The ones who lay sleepless with strange scenes and exhausted distractions

forgetting to breathe until the ink spills reason

We know sometimes our minds go where the body cannot follow

With no way to accommodate these abrupt transitions into impeccable storms

We interpret how we fall and do our best at stability

We stumble into renditions of frantic omissions

Constructing voids and fine tuning self destruction

Writing keeps us sane

but will surely be our undoing

So smile for the gift of justified obscurity

Sigh for the myth that claims all pain is accounted for

Find a balance and do your best to negate the banshee

This has been a message from one addled poet to the rest

I've seen your pain and hope you refrain from despondency

The world needs you now more than ever

PLEASE

Never stop writing
