Things happen
You left with proper notice
A gift I suppose
So many meet tragedy abruptly
Cookie cutter hysterics with the comfort casserole
life claimed another timeline
Since there are no half measures with the void
I will simply bring you a requiem
I swallow my nature for your passing
A broken car progression
A common misconception
Most of its passengers remain space phone faded
cancelled and cozy
It's your one day of stop light freedom
They stay red and we keep driving
A pity
You can no longer revel in this small defiance
A family plot far from the highway
Hysterical mechanical madness still clings to the breeze
There is no escaping the sounds of a worlds momentum
even as you're laying it to rest
This is where I'll stay someday the old heads tell me
I flee from the thoughts such a statement commands
I'm still running
Knowing there is surely no room for my ghost
