It passes...
They say life flashes before your eyes
If you are about to die .
but why do i sit here ?
My life flashed before me and i felt the scars again.
The pain of seeing my mother's beautiful
Lifeless face .
She was at peace with the world
as she lay in a coffin .
The tearing of my heart as i kissed my comatose grandmother
for the last time,
before we pulled the plug .
Drugs were my band-aid then .
They comforted me in bliss,
And i forgot my problems
For as long as the high lasted .
Now i can't use those band-aids
For i have been to rehab and now i need answers .
Answers as to why i am a standing and other people die .
this is a cry for help ....save me from myself
