Step back, away from my zone
of comfort; your presence stands
my hairs on end, and I pretend
I am not annoyed, but what good is
subtle sarcasm and lackadaisical
tone when speaking to an outdated
mindset with little room left to grow
if the satisfaction of your reaction is
not delivered nor comprehended?
