I love the way you envelope me
Like a blanket on a cool night
You protect me from a cold breeze
Because you comfort me
No liquid fire
No fiery herbs
Just the warm embrace of nothing
Calcium infused collagen
Guide me into sleep
Awake is a nightmare
Relax me
Slow to breathe
What is left is insignificant
What is forward doesn't matter
Legacies are earned
Not worth a stain to be remembered
Understanding would flatter
Am I mad?
I look forward to the answer
I just wrote this on the spot to try and express how I feel right now. I did not do any editing. I just wrote the words as they came to me.
