Just a dream

by Kees

She comes from a broken place Tears fell down her pretty face Home to many was paradise to her it wasn't all to nice Family feuds twist her mind Peace in home hard to find A boy then comes in to her life He seems to heal all her strife But Bad company he did bring Leading to sorrow that I sing Mind twisted even more Her heart smashed on the floor Why o why couldn't it be me Her pain I really hate to see Years gone by haunting her mind Peace & happiness don't come kind Then I come in to the scene To do something far past mean Relapses come to attack Sadness quickly comes back She takes me in and gives me peace For her the pain doesn't cease I brought it back I know for sure Just take me head and bring the door Close it once, close it twice For all I done close it thrice Why does pain follow me Everywhere I wanna be I want to take it all inside Run away go and hide So no one can be sad again I'll go now, no need to say when Asleep we we're one day at night A dream, she was Tryna fight When she woke up what came to be She said no don't touch me What happened is i was in her dream And I definitely wasn't on her team Confused so I thought to why Suddenly I began to cry With her pure soul she tried to comfort me One day I hope she will see Everything she's ment to be What lingers now is paradise This dream has now happened twice Paradise isn't what it would seem As I cried she told me it was just a dream
