Mirror so loved it (he made her his slave)

Slave to beauty,
Tied, bound, and condemned to live forever as a slave,
to her master and owner... Mr. APPEARANCE.

She wants to free herself of this *******,
Rid herself of shallow attachments,
love fully her flaws,
but the cunning mirror, cautiously lies to her,
it has forged an alliance with her mind, to only make visible her most inadequate faults!

She wants to break free,
love her insipid face,
but the chains of society,
weigh heavy on her…it always reminds her,
that she’s not completely emancipated,
that she is not special,
and she must keep the mold bequeathed to her,
for being born the weak gender and coming out of Adam's rib.

She’s not fully captive,
She can go and have fun with her girls,
she can work, breast-feed an entire country,
but ultimately,
she should execute those functions,
looking like a beauty queen!

Doesn’t matter that she’s a genius,
Doesn’t matter that she’s sincere,
Doesn’t matter that that she loves completely,
or the fact that she’s an exceptional person,
the only that matters…..
is that she keeps an ideal figure
that as she graces the streets with her delicate figure
traffic is halt to a stop,
that she be more beautiful than Halle Berry, Salma Hayek or Jolie.

No, it doesn’t matter…….

As long as she remains tied to that mirror,
it doesn't matter that…..she’s empty inside!

Esclava de la belleza
amarrada, atada, y condenada,

debe ejercer esas funciones,
¡como toda reina de belleza!

no importa que sea genial,
no importa que sea sincera,
no importa que ame por completo,
no importa que sea buena persona,
solo importa,
que mantenga un número ideal,
que choquen carros a su pasar,
que sea más bella que Halle Berry,
Salma Hayek o la Jolie.

Mientras ella siga atada a ese espejo,
no importa que este vacía por dentro!
