On the other side of an ocean blue,
people celebrating, that’s true,
of independence from my lands,
ancestors killed by my ancestor’s hands.
They sing songs of ****** glory,
stories told, allegories.
Flags unfurled, fluttering high.
Sunset, a red, white and blue sky.
