Let me today do something that will
Take a little sadness
From your heart's vast store
And may I be so favored as to make

You happier ever more
Let me not hurt you, by any selfish
Deed or thoughtless word
Let me love you and cherish you

I have so much to give
Let me tonight look back across the
Span of time that we have
Known each other, and

The world is better that we met.
