WHAT YOU DONT SEE
Me crumbling beneath
The weight of this burden
Screaming for help
Yet no one can hear me
I look to the heavens
And only hear silence
I look to the stars
And only see darkness
No hope in sight
I lay awake on the edge of insanity
Questioning if all this
Is truly worth it
What is the difference
Between life and death
Which is better than the other
One offers nothing
But pain and suffering
And only a glimmer of happiness
In a sky full of darkness
The other offers
Nothing
No pain
No regrets
No sorrow
Just peace
If such a thing truly exists
