Gone
Disappointment and regret consume me.
All I have left of you now is this photograph.
These words written in lead so light
Will never convey what I feel.
You meant everything to me.
Now that you're gone, so am I.
Every minute that goes by, will never dwindle the way I feel.
Your perfect smile,
your eyes full of adventure.
When you were here, all I had was the promise of seeing you every day.
Now that you're gone, why should I even wake ?
When you were here, the horizon was my universe.
Now that you're gone, I only see in shades of black.
When will I get the life that I deserve back...?
I try my hardest to think not of you..
But you're in everything I do.
Now that you're gone, the only thing I wonder..
will ever get the chance to see you again ?
maybe then I'll be complete once more.
