You looked at me so much
With your warm sweet blue eyes
Pulling your long hair back
With my unpainted nails
My mouth opening and whimpering.

Its good to be back
But writing my own rules.

I was surprised by your frequent gaze
Its felt like I've been just there for
Whatever I was there for
In moments I had to look away
Or I wanted to laugh
But you looked at me
With such admiration
As you gave yourself away.

The sun was out
I complained about needing a haircut
You swiped your card to get me on the train
Rocking back and forth
Playing your music for me in the morning
With such high energy

Its good to be back
And writing my own rules again.

I know how to make men feel good
I wrote in my notebook
That I think there are a lot of men in this world
That would like to fancy me their soul mate
And right now I just don't know
Or even really care.

Its good to be back
And writing my own rules again.
