coffee for you and me

as tears fall from clouds

just like crumbs on the tables

i wish that i might be different

i hope that one day i'll be able

all the things i used to love

i hate now

so i'll sit here for a while

mixing in cubes of sugar until it saturates

this liquid that you love in the morning

wishing six carbon twelve hydrogen and six oxygen

pressed into shape was your smile

because cause you shouldn't be laughing at a word i say

though you might be finding this comical

or the thc in your brain makes it seem that way

i hurt you, and you hurt me

and friendship might be desired

i'm just old milk neglected on a hot summer day

don't use me for you sweetened cafe

im expired
