I’ve known, all along, I speak
not to be heard.
I take myself to places, where I
forlorn, can guffaw.

I live alone, I breath alone,
I love alone, I dream alone.
Through my loneliness, I connect,
with all of you, with none of you.
I was born alone, I’ll die alone.

I have no remorse -
the Haast, too,
soars,
alone.
