Repeat it after me
after me there will be more
be more people, buildings, presidents
presidents who'll only bring war
war that will never bring peace
peace that we've seen before
before when we thought that there would be no more
no more worries, suffering, dying
dying faith and dwindling hope
hope that one day we'd initiate change
change that each one of them swore
swore that from now on there will be more
more money, truth, safety, understanding, β€œJust you wait!”
You wait for these promises, these miracles to wash up ashore
sure, in God we trust everything they say
say it, β€œThat as one our country will be able to sore”
sore past all of their mistakes? Why not?
Why not believe such fallacies?
Fallacies? There will be no more, now repeat it after me.
