Just as I said before
I come in peace
I exist to do no harm
To protect you from your head to your feet

You don't believe me because
I've done some bad
Not every sinner becomes a saint
But I'll give everything I've ever had
Every saint was once a sinner
Remember that

I keep it in mind
I shuffle my feet
Around the white sidewalk
And down the black tar street
I can't help but hang my head though
And
Now it seems Heaven's too much a leap
