You were more then just a friend,
my supporter to the end.
I can still see your smile
in the memories you've left behind.
Always the first to laugh,
saved your tears to the last,
a shoulder to lean on in the worse of times.
We bowled through this life  with smiles,
shoulder to shoulder, ground covering strides,
I am going to feel your absence for quite a while.
You were a friend,
right down to the end,
and I am not in need to ever say goodbeye,
just see ya, see ya on the otherside.
