With every breath I take
there's a mistake that I make
My paradigm is wrong
nearly all the time
I think you are out there
and between us there is air
I’ve been mistaken
I've been wrong
for such a long time
My paradigm
is wrong
Now I know the truth
and I cannot blame
the foolishness of youth
I see the greyness in my hair
I've learned the wisdom
that is rare
Why do I still think
that you are out there
and between us there is air
