Good-bye
It's what is best,
Best for you and me.
Let's give it a rest,
This is something we need to see.
You're on your own way,
Our paths don't cross.
Let's forget that day,
You're truly a terrible loss.
My feelings you knew,
They were bold and true.
I wish there was another way.
I don't want to do this,
I'll leave you with a kiss.
I'm giving you my word,
I can't do this anymore.
My vision is all blurred,
And this hurts to my core.
Please, not another sound,
Those tears you must dry.
We are no longer bound,
It's time to say good-bye.
