Wake Up

Days have ground you into dust, Hours have hollowed your bones, Minutes have torn your smile to shreds. The wind carries you into shadows, Leaving nothing of light within. Pain drinks deep from your shattered heart, Blinding you in a sudden eclipse, Yet still you linger in the cold comfort of slumber, As the darkness festers around your soul
