Sitting in silence
No light inside the room
but your shine cracks through the door as I view my soul in clarity as I listen to you whole
unfold the mysteries of your oceanic heart
as the cosmos parts in the sky
the gold of your truth brings warmth to the cold and dark
wisdom comes within solitude from the rest of the earth
with only you to talk to
with only you to bind my spirit to
I can hear your whisper
I see your stairway
I will climb and climb to the peak
and at zenith your eyes shall look upon me
as your determined child
to not fade as the flower of flesh
but to rise as the vessel of your breath
