Atop a tower,
a cuckoo's nest,
lie eggs restless
awaiting tick-tock.

One bird flew,
one bird fell
from heaven-bound hill
of cracked glass,
rotten wood and
broken hands.

Tick-tock said the cuckoo's
clock
before collapsing with a mighty
BANG.
